The Vila do Bispo Interpretation Center is located in the space of the old local market, originally built in the early 20th century and traditionally known as “Lota dos Perceves”.

This space promotes a wide range of initiatives aimed at the knowledge, conservation, valorisation, dissemination and sustainable sharing of particular aspects of the very rich and very diverse local heritage, in its natural, cultural, material and immaterial aspects.

Here you will explore topics such as Biodiversity, Geology, Paleontology, Archaeology, History and Ethnology of this county, as well as enjoy a vast program of temporary exhibitions covering areas such as classical arts and traditional arts.
